MA NEEDS YOU TO RUN AS A REPUBLICAN! |

Sick and tired of one party government in Massachusetts? The members of MassRepublicansForTruth.com are! 2008 is the year that we can start putting our Party back on track by electing more Republicans to the Massachusetts House and Senate. How do we do that? We need to capitalize on the complete failure of the Deval Patrick Administration. After just one year in office, our new Governor has basically only one accomplishment. He passed legislation to increase the buffer zone around abortion clinics. While on the other hand the Governor has proposed major spending projects which, if passed, would double the size of our state budget. His fiscal irresponsibility has also created a major deficit. Moreover, the Governor failed to keep his campaign promise of lowering property taxes. Remember when he said he opposed rolling back the income tax because he wanted to decrease our property tax burden? Not only is Patrick determined to bring back the Michael Dukakis’ days of fiscal chaos, but he also wants to restore the revolving door of justice. When he is not campaigning for Barack Obama, he is trying to weaken CORI. These are all excellent issues for Republicans to use in 2008. It is time for the Republican Party to step forward with new ideas and a new agenda that will result in the election of more Republicans to the state legislature. We can gain seats if we unite as a Party and present a better alternative to Patrick’s weak proposals which should not be all that hard considering his message of hope continues to lack substance. More Republicans need to be encouraged to run and then they need to be shown how to win. MRFT can help!
